Essai is a bespoke college admissions consultancy, aimed at helping high school students gain admission to the top US and UK institutes. We are currently looking for talented and motivated people who can join us as a Essay Specialist, focusing on application essay support.
The Essay Specialist aims to provide instruction and support in creative, narrative, and academic writing for Indian students in Grade 12. The teaching consists of one-on-one classes that cover essay ideation, drafting, editing, and finalisation, culminating in the completion of the creative and academic essays needed for admission to top US and UK universities.
Outstanding academic writing skills are a must, as are interpersonal communication skills. Past teaching experience is preferred but not necessary. These essays can cover a wide range of personal and academic topics, so well-developed research skills are crucial. This is a job for a creative multi-tasker and academic 'people person' who loves talking, thinking, and writing.
The Essay Specialist position is a full-time post, starting in June 2018. The job runs for nine months (through March 2019), and can be extended if the experience is mutually satisfactory.
