• Chairperson of International Council’ of Global Youth that manages the bilateral international forums of the organization and aims at nurturing the relationship of the organisations with the foreign missions.
• Chairperson of India-UK Youth Forum’. The forum focuses on the relations between India and United Kingdom and conducts various activities on related themes.
• Campus Ambassador’ under SVEEP (Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation) programme of the Election Commission of India that aims to spread voter awareness and promote voter literacy.
• Founding President’ of Hindu CII-Yi Yuva Chapter. This chapter is under the aegis of Yuva programme of Young Indians initiative of the Confederation of Indian Industries.

Akashleena

Akashleena Chakrabarti is Program Associate at WISCOMP, an initiative of the Foundation for Universal Responsibility, where she curates sessions for the virtual Book Café series, facilitates interactive spaces of dialogue for young scholars, academicians and practitioners and supports programs on Mediation, Conflict Transformation and Peacebuilding. Currently she is coordinating a one-of-its-kind virtual workshop series on Unarmed Civilian Protection organized in collaboration with Nonviolent Peaceforce, Geneva. At the Foundation, Akashleena also coordinates the Foundation’s flagship Academic Fellowships, liaising with Professor Krishna Menon and the senior scholars and academics who are awarded grants for their research.

She holds a Bachelors’ degree in Political Science and a Diploma in Conflict Transformation and Peace Building from Lady Shri Ram College for Women, and a Masters’ degree in Political Science from the University of Delhi. Akashleena’s research interests lie at the intersection of political theory, digital peacebuilding and conflict transformation.

Bhumika

Bhumika was selected as a State Bank of India Youth For India Fellow for the year 2022-2023. She was placed with Seva Mandir, an NGO actively working with rural communities in Southern Rajasthan since 1968. She worked specifically in two villages of Jhadol block in the Udaipur district for a period of 13 months. Her work primarily focused on promoting the health and nutrition of children through revival of traditional foods such as local millet-based diets. With the active cooperation of grassroot workers and community institutions of Seva Mandir, she also engaged closely with Anganwadis and the child day-care centers run by Seva Mandir in remote parts of the region.

SBI YFI Fellowship is a flagship programme of the SBI Foundation which spans across 20 states in partnership with 13 NGOs working in the domain of rural development.

 

Harshit Kumar

Harshit Kumar is a practitioner of the ancient Indian warrior art, “Sanatan Shastar Vidya.” Tracing its origins to Adi Guru Shiva and Ishta Devi Bhagwati, it is a highly evolved martial art that incorporates sophisticated unarmed techniques, as well as a variety of unique Indian weapons, such as swords, spears, daggers, clubs, and sticks, along with tactics and stratagems. He practices this art under the mentorship of Shri Jatin Mogha Ji, a direct disciple of Grandmaster Gurudev Nidar Singh Nihang of Baba Darbara Singh Akhara.

A sports enthusiast, Harshit has run marathons and won a gold medal at the 12th Mixed Martial Arts Inter-Club Championship held at Combat Fight Club in January 2024. He also serves as a Strength and Conditioning Coach for athletes and martial artists. In January 2023, Harshit co-founded an organic bamboo lifestyle products company, “Ritam Naturals,” with his siblings. Their products are available for sale on online platforms such as Amazon and Swiggy. They showcased their products at India’s largest digital expo, CODE 2023, held at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. Ritam Naturals also offers corporate gifting services to businesses and corporates.

 

Nitin Chauhan

As the Delhi Check-in & Volunteer Management (CVM) Head at Robinhood Army, where Nitin has been volunteering since 2019, he manages 13 chapters with over 1,500 volunteers, leading initiatives such as food distribution, medical camps, and education drives across Delhi. Currently, he is participating in a CSR study at Deloitte, aiming to engage with 100 companies to assess CSR fund utilization across India. His prior work includes projects at the Centre for Good Governance, where he traveled to nine districts across Uttarakhand, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, and Haryana, as well as roles at the Indian Political Action Committee (IPAC), Swaniti Initiative, Chase India, and Polstrat. These experiences have shaped his focus on governance, policy research, and social impact.

Raised average reading levels of 64, 5th grade students of a government school by 2 + years in 18 months by initiating infrastructural improvements and community involvement programs.
Formulated solutions with multiple stakeholders to boost student attendance from 37% to 96% in 6 months.
Partnered with mental health expert to conduct socio-emotional learning workshops and free therapy sessions ,leading to 74% increase in students ability to manage emotions effectively and 15% reduction in behavioral issues.
Mentored students to appear for NTSE, a nation level scholarship exam, resulting in the selection of 10 students.
Led training sessions for 72 students to create 15 student-led projects at Atal Tinkering Labs fostering a culture of creativity and problem-solving.
