‘National Vice President’ of Global Youth, an apolitical and not for profit organization that aims to transform youth into future leaders.
• ‘Chairperson of International Council’ of Global Youth that manages the bilateral
international forums of the organization and aims at nurturing the relationship of the
organisations with the foreign missions.
• ‘Chairperson of India-UK Youth Forum’. The forum focuses on the relations between India
and United Kingdom and conducts various activities on related themes.
• ‘Campus Ambassador’ under SVEEP (Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral
Participation) programme of the Election Commission of India that aims to spread voter
awareness and promote voter literacy.
• ‘Founding President’ of Hindu CII-Yi Yuva Chapter. This chapter is under the aegis of Yuva
programme of Young Indians initiative of the Confederation of Indian Industries.
• ‘Global Youth Golden Chakra Citation’ for outstanding contribution towards the
organisation

Akashleena 

Akashleena Chakrabarti is Program Associate at WISCOMP, an initiative of the Foundation for Universal Responsibility, where she curates sessions for the virtual Book Café series, facilitates interactive spaces of dialogue for young scholars, academicians and practitioners and supports programs on Mediation, Conflict Transformation and Peacebuilding. Currently she is coordinating a one-of-its-kind virtual workshop series on Unarmed Civilian Protection organized in collaboration with Nonviolent Peaceforce, Geneva. At the Foundation, Akashleena also coordinates the Foundation’s flagship Academic Fellowships, liaising with Professor Krishna Menon and the senior scholars and academics who are awarded grants for their research.
She holds a Bachelors’ degree in Political Science and a Diploma in Conflict Transformation and Peace Building from Lady Shri Ram College for Women, and a Masters’ degree in Political Science from the University of Delhi. Akashleena’s research interests lie at the intersection of political theory, digital peacebuilding and conflict transformation.

Bhumika

Bhumika was selected as a State Bank of India Youth For India Fellow for the year 2022-2023. She was placed with Seva Mandir, an NGO actively working with rural communities in Southern Rajasthan since 1968. She worked specifically in two villages of Jhadol block in the Udaipur district for a period of 13 months. Her work primarily focused on promoting the health and nutrition of children through revival of traditional foods such as local millet-based diets. With the active cooperation of grassroot workers and community institutions of Seva Mandir, she also engaged closely with Anganwadis and the child day-care centers run by Seva Mandir in remote parts of the region.
SBI YFI Fellowship is a flagship programme of the SBI Foundation which spans across 20 states in partnership with 13 NGOs working in the domain of rural development.
