Comparative Federalists Research Group (CFRG)
Convenor: Prof. Rekha Saxena
This research group aims to promote comparative research in the field of federalism so as to enable cross-national engagement. This group involves members from the faculty of the department and constituent colleges of University of Delhi. It also benefits from association with prominent scholars around the world specializing in the domain of federalism studies. The emergence of this group was inspired by Leverhulme International Research Network Project, titled ‘Continuity and Change in Indian Federalism” (March 2014-January 2017). This project was a joint collaboration of six universities.
Dr.Wilfried Swenden, Senior Lecturer, University of Edinburgh was the Principal Investigator. Prof. Rekha Saxena, Department of Political Science, University of Delhi team was the Lead coordinator on the sub-theme- “Intergovernmental Relations”.
